Shepherd - Bowie - Large - Young - Male - Dog

　　Meet Bowie, approximately 1.5-2 years old, most likely a shepherd/heeler mix, weighing 55 lbs. Bowie is not only a handsome guy; he is extremely smart and anxious to learn. He has big goofy ears that make him all the more endearing. He loves his walks & is doing well on a leash. Bowie was picked up as a stray & has really taken to the easy life and comfort of the house with plentiful toys, treat, and dog-beds. He also enjoys playing in the yard. This a strong willed, extremely intelligent, food motivated dog who would greatly enjoy a job. He is anxious to learn and a quick study & really has been a lot of fun to work with. We have been working on crate training & he is doing very well- even putting himself to bed. Bowie just needs the right pack-leader to continue with his training & show him the ropes so he can live up to his full potential. He is being fostered around other dogs & will do well as an only dog or with a playful dog of similar size and temperament. Bowie has plenty of energy & would probably be best with older children.
