My story
Shelby is a 2-3 year old Weimaraner who came to us from TX with her 7 puppies. She and her pups were part of a 38 dog hoarding case where the house was so gross the people had moved out to the shed in the back yard. When Shelby arrived here, her feet were flat and she did not know how to run. At first, Shelby would smell her foster family but had no interest in pets. Fast forward to today and Shelby enjoys affection from her foster family and plays with the male resident dogs! Shelby's ideal home is patient & quiet, has older kids (loud and quick movements still scare her), and has a playful yet gentle male dog friend (female dogs are fine as well she just doesn't engage in play). She is house trained if let out routinely, uses a dog door, and is crate trained. We know Shelby's family is out there so please share and apply at bigbonescaninerescue.com if it could be you! Located in Fort Collins, adoption fee is $350.
