My story
Shelby is a 4-month-old female Shepherd/Lab mix. She came to PAHS when Animal Control picked her up out in the county; and her owner never came for her. Shelby is a blond; and a pretty one at that! Did you notice that beautiful pink tongue? It was hot the day we made pictures; her tongue doesn't usually look that pink or that large! She weighs 21 pounds and will be a medium sized adult dog who will weigh 30-60 pounds. Since she is a stray we are still learning about Shelby. She is super active as any 4 month old pup would be. Shelby is good with children but NOT with other dogs. She has a lot to learn--like how to walk properly on a leash. Our little firecracker, Shelby, is eager to learn and very sweet. She wants to please and to be a good girl. With a patient and loving owner Shelby is going to be a wonderful addition to her new family.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Shelby 34164, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
