I rescued this little girl from PACC about 6 months ago. She had some skin issues and tested Tick Fever positive but now she's 100% healthy! She has since been spayed, is up to date on all vaccines and is ready for her forever home!!
She is 29 lbs, 2 years old (approx) and a pretty high energy dog (definitely from the cattle dog in her). I take her on walks about 4 times so she would do best with a person or family ready to facilitate her energy :)
At night, her favorite thing to do is cuddle up next to me under the blankets.
I'll be honest, apparently she was found on a reservation as a stray so she's not all the keen on staying in the back yard for any longer than 20 minutes or so - SHE IS A DIGGER and has dug out of my yard. That being said, she is GREAT indoors, non-destructive and when I go to work, I have her baby gated in the kitchen and she never makes a mess.
I've been back and forth on whether or not to keep her as my own, but I truly love fostering and know there are others just like Dorothy out there who need my help in finding them homes too. She just truly is a sweet dog and I know she'll change someone's life.
She lives with cats and has been beat up enough to now ignore them ;)
She lives with 2 other dogs as well (males) and has always been really great but she did take a day or two to introduce and become comfortable.
Let me know if you'd like to set up a meet and greet. I am a VERY picky foster momma and do have some very high standards as to who she will go to. Like I said, I've become very attached to her and this is one of the hardest fosters I've had to re-home
Thanks for your time!
