My story
Shannon is a sweet but very shy short haired grey girl - about 3 years old now.
She was born as an unwanted stray in a trailer park and was trapped when 7 weeks old.
Hoping to secure her a better future, she was taken in by a foster home and taught to trust and love people.
She did learn to bond, but remained dominated by the resident older cat and thus lived mostly in the bathroom to avoid him.
After 2 years of trying to find a home unsuccessfully, her foster home could no longer keep her, so she moved to a new foster home. She was terrified initially but after a few months in a small room with several other very cat social cats she settled in and now quietly seeks attention when her foster mother goes in to see her.
She is a sweet girl and wants to be loved, but has very little confidence.
She's looking for a quiet home and an understanding family that can help her grow and blossom - but who won't expect too much from her too fast.
She does great with very cat social cats, but dominant, more bullying cats terrify her.
