My story
02/28/22 Shakespeare was surrendered to the shelter with a couple doggy friends due to his previous owner moving for health reasons. He was described as being a great sled dog. His previous owner stated that he has only gone 10 miles. Shakespeare was described as doing overall well with other dogs but does have food aggression so should be fed separately. He is use to living the outdoor life so if his new owner plans on transitioning him indoors he will need some help! He will need help with potty training and basic commands. It is unknown whether Shakespeare has ever been around children or cats, so please take any introductions very slowly as many huskies have a high prey drive and may look at little critters as snacks!
Shakespeare is a sweet happy boy who is looking for an owner who can meet his needs and keep him well exercised! If you are interested in meeting him please give the shelter a call!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt SHAKESPEARE, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
