Shadow's story

　　Hi! I'm Shadow! I came to The Shelter because my family could not longer keep me. While here, it was discovered that my mouth was in bad shape - and boy was I in some pain! I rested in a foster home until my dental surgery could be scheduled and then returned to my home for recovery. My foster mom tells me that I was sad and withdrawn when I came in - I still sought affection, but opted to "lay low" and would crawl under covers and bedding. After my dental, I was feeling so much better and enjoy being a sidekick to my family - I want to be involved! I spent a lot of time with my foster family's resident dog, often walking between her legs, brushing her belly with my tail. When it was time to hang the holiday light on Thanksgiving, I was there to help! I'm loving, out going and ready to take on the world with my family.

　　My adoption fee includes my spay or neuter surgery, initial vaccinations, a bag of Purina Pro Plan food, a microchip and a voucher for a free veterinary office visit.
