Shadow's story

　　Shadow is a 6 months old terrier/Minpin mix, weighing about 9.10lbs. Shadow was dumped at a shelter in Texas. Poor Shadow was so scared and didn't understand what he had done wrong to end up in such a terrifying situation. Luckily one of our rescue partners was able to get him out of a shelter and into a safe, loving foster home until he could make his trip to CO. Shadow is now is Colorado and is ready to find his forever home.

　　Shadowi sleeps well in a Kennel at night, although I am sure he would much prefer to snuggle, but he is happy either way. He also seems to be house trained with frequent potty breaks and a good schedule, since he is still a puppy. He is good with dogs, big and small. Shadow is very friendly with new people and loves to meet everybody. He will take a little longer than his foster brother, Mowgli, to warm up to new people, but still within minutes he loves everybody. He is a lap dog and if he's not playing with his foster brother he will come and jump right in your lap for some good snuggle time. Shadow is a total total love. He would do great with kids or another dog to play with, but most of all just someone to love. He would also do great with someone who who wants to take their dogs on adventures/walks. Shadow is just such a great pup, and despite his negative experiences in the beginning of his life, he is so willing and open to love and wants nothing more than a forever family to call his own!
