My story

　　Shadow is an 1-and-1/2 year old female Pointer mix who must be spayed before she is adopted. She came to the shelter as a stray and her owner never came looking for her. Shadow's short length coat is mostly white with black markings. This good looking girl currently weighs 53 pounds so she is considered to be a medium sized adult dog. Shadow is friendly and sweet. She is getting along well with the other dogs at the shelter. We think she would be best in a home with older children only. From what we have observed about Shadow we believe she will quickly bond with her new family. Shadow seems to get attached to staff quickly and we know it would be the same with her adopter. Come out and meet Shadow soon.Dogs may be adopted for $120. Cat adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heartworm negative.
