Seymore's story
Seymore -- Because of the high intake volume of dogs coming into the shelter, I often regret that I'm not able to spend the amount of time I would like working with a particular dog. The time I had to spend with Seymore was one of those occasions. He is just such a sweet, laid back, calm, and gentle old soul! Seymore is another one of those mystery dogs who are all too often left in one of our outside kennels after hours, and whom we know nothing about. Seymore is a very special, very sweet big hunk o' love who was left with us by an unknown individual. Seymore loves attention, and makes eye contact very easily. He is attentive and just comes across as a very loving and loyal big boy. He seems fairly happy in the shelter, and is very sociable and friendly. Seymore's coat appears to have recently been trimmed very closely, so he probably normally has a coat of medium to longer hair. He also seems to be a 'senior' or older soul who has seen better times and is at, or past, his prime. Seymore moves a little slowly and at times seems (to my untrained eye) to move as if his joints don't function as well as they once did. The thing about this wonderful big boy is his precious, affectionate personality. If Seymore is not reclaimed by his owner, he will be made available for adoption.
