Seth's story
Settled outdoors in the sunshine is sweet Seth's preferred place to be. He loves prancing about the yard and should his foster mom leave her shoes outside, he'll mischievously move them around! Recently rescued from a high-kill shelter, the gentle 25-pound terrier mix is new to trust and to a human's tender touch, and yet, he will, on occasion, play with one of the other dogs when he's not curled up in the crate he loves. Favoring high value treats such as jerky, peanut butter and chicken, he will, if calmly coaxed, take them softly from his foster mom's hand, and will even let her pet him awhile when he's most relaxed. Fearful of loud noises, sudden movements, and the feel of a collar around his neck, he has yet to be leash trained and knows no commands, but he is housetrained. With much still to learn and experience, what sweet, scared Seth needs now is a patient and loving fur-ever home to slowly earn his trust and ultimately his affection while teaching him how truly wonderful his life can be.
