Selly's story

　　Ive been in my foster home for just over a month, getting my vet check ups, and getting healthy. Before I got here, I was living on the streets trying to find food and take care of myself. That was rough and I didnt eat well and wasnt feeling great. My vet found out Im FIV+, but don't let my being FIV+ scare you away! I have the same life expectancy of any other cat, it is not transmittable to you or dogs, and is only transmittable to other cats through very deep bite wounds. after a month of TLC, and high quality food, Im feeling great!

　　I feel so great, in fact, I want to chat with you non stop. Wait until you hear me vocalize! You will be so impressed. I also appreciate being held and carried and I will be happy to purr the whole time. Im really happy to sit in your lap, too. Im not too excited about chasing balls or that little red dot, but maybe a feather toy or a wiggly wire would be alright. Im interested in relaxed kids that want to scratch my head, talk to me, and hold me as long as they listen when I tell them Ive had enough. Im brave and curious and would like a whole house to wander.

　　At my foster home, Im kept separate from the other cats and dogs so Im not too sure if Id like them. Im told that I am special and beautiful and I think that must be true because my foster family loves me very much. I hope to find a perfect forever family that thinks Im just as special.
