Sedona's story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.
Sedona is a diva and the ultimate couch potato. Sedona has come along way since being pulled from the shelter with her pal Winslow in 2016. Sedona is a creature of habit so naturally she does not like new things...they tend to scare her. Sedona very much enjoys sleeping on the sofa. Sedona's favorite things to do are snuggle with her family and eat. She gets along nicely with her four foster siblings; they range in size from 40-80 pounds. Sedona does not like cats. Sedona does enjoy nice strolls through the neighborhood as long as her more confident foster brother is by her side. Sedona would do best in a home with another dog who is confident and friendly and would be willing to accept her as a friend. Sedona does know some commands such as 'sit,' 'no,' 'up,' and 'come.'
We suspect Sedona was an outside dog prior to coming into rescue. She has come a long way on potty training, but she still has some accidents. Her adopters will need to continue working with her on going outside. The foster home does not have a dog door so it is unknown if that would make a difference. She is kenneled while her foster is at work but she does not have accidents in the kennel anymore!
Sedona is very scared of car rides, while this very well could be due to her foster moms driving, she is scared enough in cars that anyone looking for a travel buddy should not consider her as their travel partner.
Sedona's adoption fee of $125.00 includes her microchip, spay and current DHPP and Rabies vaccine.
