Scruff's story

　　Scruff is a 4 1/2 year old 25 lb. male schnauzer mix. He has a beautiful, soft brindle coat. He responds to his name, is house trained, good on a leash, and knows simple commands (sit, stay, come). Scruff loves all humans and is good with children. He gets along well with other dogs of the same size or smaller in a one on one setting. He does not do well with puppies (or cats) as he confuses them with squirrels.

　　Scruff is energetic, intelligent, funny, and cute. Sometimes, to get your attention hell sit down right in front of you and talk to you. If you ever cant find him, hell be peeking out from underneath the bed. He loves to play with toys and has 3 favorites. He loves taking walks, hiking, car rides, and curling up in a ball beside you on the bed at night. He would love a fenced in backyard so he can be free to run off leash.

　　Scruff traveled the U.S. with his previous owner the past 2 years, but he has shown that he would prefer a home that didnt move every couple of months and a family that could spend more time with him during the day. Scruff is the absolute sweetest, most lovable dog you will let into your heart and your home.
