My story

　　Hello, my name is Penny. My sister Dolly and I were born in June 2015.  We are six years old. I'm a very happy girl, bonded to my sister Dolly, so we both must be adopted together. 

　　I'm a purebred with a full tail, weighing 40 pounds. My foster mom says I'm an all-around great girl.  Great with obedience, excellent food manners and mouth control, travel great in a car, and perfect in a kennel. I'm great with other dogs and kids. Like any brittany, I love to run and have a great nose. I'm always pointing out the birds and the squirrels. I'm more submissive and follow my sister Dolly, who is more of the leader.  My sister and I were outdoor dogs before coming into rescue.  We are mostly housebroken now. I do much better walking with a harness; otherwise I want to pull in order to follow my inquisitive nose. I've been told that I'm very smart, social, affectionate, obedient and that I settle to a calm nicely.  I will go from wide open to sound asleep, just like that!

　　My sister and I are searching for our forever home, where we can live the best indoor life with lots of outdoor playtime. A physical fence would be great, so we can run safely around the backyard. We are energetic, but also love to spend lots of time with our humans.  We would be the best companions for you! 

　　My sister Dolly and I are both spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and heartworm negative.

　　We are being fostered in upstate South Carolina.  Our adoption fees are $350 each and we can be transported up to 1400 miles, with the adopter responsible for the last 100 miles.  If you are interested in adopting us, please submit an adoption application at and mention our names....Penny and Dolly!
