*SCOTTY's story

　　This kitten arrived to the shelter very scared. He has since calmed down some, but will probably give staff and volunteers a hiss greeting. If you hold him close and pet him, he will begin to purr. This kitten is looking for a quiet, cat-savvy adult only household with patient adopters who will take the time to socialize with this kitten to help build his confidence. He may always be shy, and will probably never be the outgoing door greeter.
