My story
Toss one back with Scotch! My name is Scotch, and I’m a 4-month-old Shepherd mix, weighing 25 pounds. I’m working on being a “good boy” with my potty training, but I’m not a fan of my leash. I’d much rather be held. I’m already neutered, I don’t have any separation anxiety, and my health is in tip-top shape!I’m a sweet boy, but I’m still getting used to the world around me and need some time to warm up to people. Once I’m comfortable, though, I’m your little shadow, and I make the perfect cuddle bug. In fact, the closer I can get to you, the better. I’m even known to cuddle up in your hair while you sleep. When I’m not being your work or study buddy, I like to get my zoomies out by running into any wall I can!As for my ideal home, I’d do great with anyone who could advocate for my space. I’m nervous around new people at first, but I always warm up and let my true colors show. I would also love another doggie sibling who I could run around with. Children would be great, too. Cats are a maybe, though, as I can’t help but get too excited and chase them. So, do we sound like the perfect mix? If so, my adoption fee is $500 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/##1310844##
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Scotch, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
