Hello friends, Im Scooter. About a year and a half ago I was rescued by my wonderful foster family after many moons on the mean streets. The past year has been a blur, Ive been to obedience school (I was very timid when I arrived, but Im coming out of my shell). And now its finally time for me to find my forever home. Let me tell you a little bit about myself

　　I am very, very mellow. I love hanging out with my humans and getting my head rubbed. Grown ups are my best-ies (Im too shy to be around the little oneswhen they come to visit, I just hang out on my bed), but Im not big on playing, running or exploring. I just want to be near you and chillax.

　　I really dont want to play with other pups. Guess it was from my time living on the street. I guess I kind of find other dogs confusing and would rather be on my own with my humans. I can live with another pup for the company, but I probably wont play with them much. I do like my toys

　　especially the stuffed ones. My foster thinks Im a little odd as I dont really chew my toys, I just kind of nuzzle them. She thinks thats pretty cute.

　　Because Im so shy, it takes me a little bit of to warm up to someone, but once you're in, you're in. I go to work sometime with my foster and I love, love, love the ladies there. I can sit with both of them for hours and be blissfully happy. So who am I looking for? Maybe someone who just wants a companion. A big plus is I look really fierce, even though Im not, so I can make your home a safer place.

　　Im house trained and ride well in the car. I will happily sleep in a kennel, but having the door shut scares me. Lets be honest, I dont love being left alone. If Im home with another mellow pup I will do OK, otherwise I need a human thats around a lot of the time. Im not that old (the Vet thinks four or five). My only health issue is the occasionally allergy, but give me some Zyrtek and Im right as rain. I am really looking forward to meeting you. I may be mellow, but Im a keeper
