Scooter's story
Mom and three pups were found in a trash heap like yesterday's garbage buy a local business who called MARF to take into rescue. (One of the employees and his wife are fostering mom) These boys will be fully vetted after March 6th and ready for their new homes. They have personality to spare and are rowdy and rambunctious as most young pups are. This breed doesn't need to be kenneled for long they need room to run and play. They will be best with families of children over age 10 because of their size and because they are so active and need training; they won't mean to, but they will accidentally scratch while they're playing and trying to get attention, of which they need a lot of, so their new homes need to be aware of that. They aren't to be stuck in a crate and forgotten about! Our puppies are only to be adopted to someone who has a strong vet reference and who has had puppies before because they're like bringing home an infant to train. They'll need someone to play with, to prevent boredom and destruction. So if you aren't willing to put in the time and the love, these aren't the pups for you!
