Scooter 30224's story

　　Scooter is an 1-year-old male Terrier mix who has already been neutered. He was originally found as a stray several months ago; and the people who found him recently brought him to PAHS. Scooter has a gorgeous wiry coat that would be considered medium length. He is tan with white markings and there is even a hint of gray mixed in throughout his coat. Scooter currently weighs 28 pounds so he is considered to be a medium sized dog. Even though he chose to sit for his pictures he is active and frisky. Scooter would be excellent in a home with children because he is friendly guy who loves everyone he meets. He gets along well with the PAHS dogs but the folks who turned him in said he was not getting along with their dogs. If you are interested in adopting Scooter and you have another dog--we would suggest you arrange a 'meet and greet' between your dog and Scooter. Scooter is ready to go home with a family who will treasure him for the awesome little guy he is!

　　Dogs can be adopted for $120. Cat adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heartworm negative.
