Scooter 27906's story

　　Scooter is an one-year-old male Shepherd mix who has already been neutered. This handsome boy is tan with a black muzzle. Scooter currently weighs 51 pounds so he is considered to be a medium sized adult dog. Scooter has been in a foster home while he was being treated for heart worms. He is now heart worm free and ready to go home with a great new family. Scooter loves stuffed animals and his toys! He is very playful and frisky. He is great with children and would make a wonderful companion/friend for a child. Scooter also gets along well with other dogs. He is a smart boy who is eager to please! Scooter already knows the command 'sit' and would be easy to train with other commands. Scooter is crate trained and close to being completely house trained. He loves long walks on his leash and we think he will especially enjoy the walk out of the shelter with his new family! Scooter is such a great dog with so much to offer his new family. 　　Dogs and puppies may be adopted for a fee of $120. All cats and kittens may be adopted for $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heartworm negative.
