My story

　　The cutest sweetie-pie!Why hewo there hooman! My name is Schroeder. I am a 1-year-old, neutered male, Dachshund Mix weighing around 9 lbs. I am here because The Animal Pad rescued me from Tijuana. I am so happy to be here and can’t wait to meet my furever family! When it comes to house/bathroom training, I am almost there! I am great on leash but not crate-trained yet. I have moderate anxiety that I will need help with!Let’s share a little bit about me! I will be the first to greet you when you get home with a cute little grunt. I am very easy going doggo. I sleep most of the day as long as I have my blanket. If I am on my blanket on the couch, I will stay there 75% of the day. I sleep great on the bed in my blanket all night long. I do get anxiety in closed areas such as a crate so I need someone who will work with me on that. Currently learning how to sit and potty training. I am submissive with other animals and will follow and learn from them. My 14-year-old foster sister has been teaching me the ropes and I love to follow her around. I seem to feel comfort with other animals. I have been great with my foster cat brother. I am doggo and cat friendly! I am not sure about little hoomans since I haven’t been with one yet. I love to sleep, play a little, treats, cuddles with anything fuzzy or hooman, some walkies. But my favorite pass time is to sunbathe while my foster mom or foster sister sit with me. My foster mom says I am a love bug! I take a little time to warm up, but once I do, I will be your best friend

　　If you are looking for a small sized companion that will always be by our side, I’m your doggo!My perfect furever home would be one that is mellow and has lots of love to share with me! I do okay alone as long as I’m not enclosed in a cage or small area. I do better with a doggo friend but if the hooman is home I would be fine being an on only doggo. Someone who works from home would probably be best or minimal working days away. My adoption fee is $450 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.
