　　Hello, my name was Alex when I came to the Ark. My previous family gave me to a man that chained me to a tree. An Ark volunteer saw me, and felt pity for me. My coat was a horrible matted mess. The doggie doctor thinks I may be a Schnauzer/Silky Terrier mix. I was born August 2009. I am a really sweet dog. I want a loving family that will make me a part of their family. I never want to be tied to a tree again! That is not a good life for any animal. Do you have room in your heart and home for a good dog like me? When you come to the Ark, will you ask to see Alex?
