Schipperke - Skeeter - Small - Adult - Male - Dog

　　I?m Skeeter! I love to be cuddled and loved as much as possible. My foster mom believes I am a Chihuahua /Schipperke mix and maybe other things. I am a boy, about 4 years old and weigh about 17 lbs. My foster mom rescued me from PACC a few months ago. At first I was so scared I would barely move or come out of my kennel. I also had no idea what the collar and leash were for. But now I love people, they scratch my belly and I love that. I have learned that not all people will hurt me; I didn?t know that before I came here. I even learned how to walk on a leash. I still need practice, but I am doing much better every day. I have trouble with allergies (my eyes water and itch a lot). My foster Mom gives me some medicine sometimes to help, but we are still working on trying to figure out exactly what I am allergic to. I?m going to start a new hypo-allergenic diet and hopefully that will help. It is hard to figure this out, so I will need to go to a new home that will have the patience and ability to work on this with me. Even with the allergies, I am still a wonderful little boy (so my foster mommy says). I am gentle, and pretty submissive around most other dogs and people. I don?t like cats though. I like kids, but not real small ones. Since I am a little shy, little kids make me very nervous. I would love a new family that has maybe one or two other dogs, but won?t mind if I am the only dog, if people are home with me most of the day. If I am left all alone for a long time, I might get myself into trouble because I?m board or scared you won?t come back. I know how to use a doggy door and am housetrained. I am neutered, up to date on all my shots, and micro-chipped. I do like to go in the car, but not for long trips. I would love to go on walks every day and be able to cuddle with my new Mom and /or Dad as much as possible.
