Black lacquer finish beautifully maintained. Essentially a brand new piano. Big, rich tone. Purchased in 2005. One owner. Carefully maintained, humidity controlled, tuned at least twice annually (whether needed or not -- typically "not" as it holds a tune forever). Completely re-regulated in February 2011 including reshaping the hammers for improved tone, repining for proper friction levels, and reweighing to even out inertia levels. The key bushings have been adjusted and capstans polished to reduce friction. The key weighting was adjusted to optimize a touch-weight and up-weight to achieve a remarkably fast, light action.
MSRP for this piano is $66,975 and to re-regulate a high-quality piano like this cost as much as $5,000. This is truly a world-class piano. Contact Steve at (D) or (E) or by email.
