I am not a trumpet player and will describe this the best to my ability, I will do my best to answer any questions you may have.This item has been well used and does show many signs of wear and tear. There are scratches, dings, and some dents. There are spots the silver plate has worn off. The case also shows many signs of wear and tear, and I do not have the key to lock the case.
