My story
This baby girl seems to have been a possible outside dog with VERY STRICT rules for not coming into the house since she was terribly afraid of doorways and was certainly mistreated by some low life in her previous life because she was timid to the point of almost not being able to function at first. Thanks to the wonderful foster parents, she has overcome that, along with having been treated for heartworms. The resident Husky also became her protector and taught her how to be a Husky. She adores attention and is well potty trained, shockingly, with great house manners. She is so very sweet and good with the cats, even sharing her crate at night with one of them. She puts herself to bed in the crate in the evening when she's tired and loves the crate. She's an easy girl to foster, according to the family.Someone spent time with her before they dumped her.I'll never understand people like this. Dogs are for life. A true lifetime commitment. She is loving being a ""house dog"" now. A Husky cannot withstand this Alabama heat in the summer outside, anyway. They have to be inside in the summer in the AC where it is cool.
