Hand made of broad solid wood planks virtually 1" thick, this immigrant trunk brought to the United States from Scandinavia has initials "CED" and date "1807," and would work well as a rustic nation coffee table or for blanket storage.

　　Original detail can still be seen, and the hinges still work terrific. Hardware is wrought iron.
