My story
This sweet senior girl was turned in to a rural north AL shelter by her owner. Luckily, ANLOL volunteers were there to pull dogs and so she came along and got her new leash on life. Savannah is estimated to be 10-12 yrs old and at 11lbs is underweight. She has no vision in her left eye and reduced vision in the right one. She will finish her vetting soon and be available for adoption. Savannah deserves a furever home where she has a soft bed and comfy blanket; a person to love and spoil her; and a safe place to patter around outside in nice weather. Because of her age, her adopter must be prepared to handle the issues that can come with a senior. She will reward you with smiles, tail wags and unending snuggles. She is fine with cats and dogs in her foster home. She is a sweetheart. Due to her age and associated senior health issues, Savannah will be adopted to a local home only.
