My story
Sasha is a special needs girl - she is deaf and has some visionimpairment due to irresponsible breeding. She is super sweet, fun,and playful and doesn't let a little handicap slow her down! Sheloves to play and LOVES to run ... she leaps and jumps like a gazellewhen she is running through the yard. She plays well with other dogsboth big and small but can be protective of her food (even though shewill only graze on it throughout the day and not eat it all at onetime). It is managed easily by feeding her in her crate or her ownspace. She shouldn't go to a home with small children simply becauseshe is deaf and if was snuck up on and startled she may jump andfrighten a little one. Older children are fine. She would probablybe fine with cats but has not been cat tested yet.She must have a fenced in yard to run and play so she can enjoy someoff leash time - and since she is deaf she can't learn to just comeback when called!Sasha is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area and any adopter wouldneed to be able to have at least one meet and greet if not multiplebefore adopting. Her adoption fee is $200. If you are interested inadopting Sasha please fill out an application atforrescue.net/dog-application.
