My story

We are a non-profit organization and we are completely 100% volunteer run. We DO NOT have a shelter and only approved applicants can make appointments with our foster homes to meet the dogs we have.Our volunteers will not discuss dogs we have available for adoption UNTIL you have an application on file and are approved to adopt.General Notes | Want to adopt this dog?  Please do not email us.  Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP.  Health Notes | Other Dogs | Loves to play & will do amazing with another playful dog.  Cats | UnsureChildren | Does great with my teenage childrenTraining   This boy is the sweetest.  He hasn't met a person or dog that he doesn't love.  He has zero food aggression and will gladly share a bone or toy with the resident dogs.  He's beginning to embrace being in the kennel when we leave the house.  He's worked very hard at house training and with consistancy he's mastering the task.  He's polite in the home and is figuring out what he can and can't put in his mouth.  He sleeps in the dog bed at night without a peep and if allowed he'd love to see what a snuggle on the couch is like but will happily lay at your feet if that's what you prefer.  He does have a few fears and will dig his heels in if he's unsure.  We try to lead with confidence and he is quick to follow.  Leash | Walks exceptionally well on a leash, right by your side.  Some sights and noises intrigue him, a slip collar is working well to keep him safe.Activity Level | Fido has energy to keep up with an active family.  He would be the best running, hiking & adventure buddy!  The vet commented that he's "a very fit dog".  He has long athletic legs, his run is more of a leap.  Personality | Calm and sweet as well as curious and spunky.  There are so many things he's mastered in the short time we've had him, he wants to please but just needs a little guidance on how to do so!   Also worth mentioning ... he is the most handsome dog with the softest coat with beautiful black highlights.  He's strong and athletic.Story | Thank you! | Adoption Donations | Puppies to 1 year - $425, 1-6 years - $375, 7-10 years - $325, and 11+ years - $175. Purebreds are $475 regardless of age. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, and supplies while in foster care that currently average over $600 per dog).Meeting Dogs | Foster dogs may have meet & greets by appointment to approved applicants only.  To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process.Please know | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption.We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page!We can not guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved.  Your application is good for 90 days from the time of approval for any dog as long as it is a good fit for your family and your lifestyle. December 9, 2022, 3:54 pm
