Sarah's story

　　Looking for a fresh start! Hi, Im Sarah, a beautiful 1-year old girl, with soft black fur and large green eyes. Ive been told I look a bit like a Burmese, with my graceful long legs and dark coat. I was found as a stray taking care of my two kittens in Frederick County. They are grown now, and have been adopted. So Im on my own, in search of my forever home.

　　Im friendly and active, seeking to be around people as much as I can. I do love to play with all sorts of toys. I love for people to throw toys, so I can chase them. And when Ive caught them, I will toss them up in the air myself! I have a particular interest in ribbons and plastic straws

　　so if you have any of those lying around, Ill be in heaven! Im a good eater, and I need to gain a bit of weight after my harrowing outside adventure with my two kittens. Im great with dinner reminders, so Im sure Ill fill out in no time!

　　I love a good chin and neck scratch, and although Im not yet what you would label a lap cat I just might learn to be, because I love people so much. I will often greet strangers by running towards them, rubbing against feet and ankles, and meowing a greeting. I will always make you feel welcome in my world!
