1/30/18 UPDATE: Santino, originally rescued in 2008, was adopted in 2011 and lived very happily in his big aviary until, through no fault of his own, he and his flock mates were returned to us. Santino's first mate Charlie died a couple years back but he remarried to a lovely King pigeon named Annie. Santino has been an amazing ambassador for pigeons & many remember him as their introduction to Palomacy.

　　Hello, We're Charlie Brown White Socks and Santino. Charlie is a domesticated blue bar feral pigeon rescued by a For the Birds vet tech and Santino is a lovely red and white king/Carneau mix who was being sold for meat in a live food market but was bought and brought to the animal shelter. They are a lovely, well-mannered and devoted couple and get along well in the loft. Santino is tame and served admirably as a MickaCoo demo bird at several adoption fairs (back when he was single).
