My story
Sandy is the sweetest little one and a half-year-old Dalmatian Wannabe. This girl came to us sick with the most horrible skin condition. She was practically naked, so much fur was missing! Lucky for Sandy, we understood this was more of a cosmetic issue and would clear up well with some meds, quality nutrition, and a lot of love. Sandy has undergone a Cinderella transformation and is ready to go to the ball! She’s absolutely beautiful now. Sandy is good with most dogs but can occasionally be selective with some. She is not good with cats. She has a very high energy dog and would do best with an owner experienced with a similar type of dog. Dalmatians, border collies, and Terrier owners would all be familiar with the type of energy Sandy exhibits. Some people would definitely find her too much, while others would love the possibilities that come with a dog like Sandy. She might be perfect for a jogger or someone into dog sports. This high energy level does not make Sandy a good match for a home with small children. As a heavy chewer, plastic squeaky toys don’t last long with her! She needs strong dog bones to chew. Despite this, Sandy loves plush toys and blankets for cuddling. She loves to sit close to you while she chews her bone or plays with her toys. She will definitely be a great companion for her new family. Sandy walks well on the leash but she should have lots of outlets to safely run off-leash and play to burn off her puppy energy. After Sandy’s Cinderella transformation, this baby girl deserves to find her prince charming or fairy godmother to give her a loving, happily ever after.
