My story
LOOK AT THAT FACE! Samuel is a very pretty young male Dalmatian who found himself in the Animal Shelter after being surrendered by his owners for ??? He came into the Shelter as a relatively happy, wiggly boy but deteriorated quickly in the stress and anxiety of the noisy, chaotic shelter. He also developed kennel cough and an upset stomach and was placed in isolation, which, of course, did nothing to help his mental state. But he has recovered now, was recently neutered, and is ready to start over in his new "furever" home. Because he became a little difficult to handle in the Shelter, we are keeping a close eye on him to see how his behavior moderates now that he is in a foster environment with friendly, loving people. He leashes up easily to go outside and accepts treats from your hand. Now in the Denver area, Samuel is friendly and affectionate and is also happy to spend time with the other dogs. Samuel knows only a few, if any, obedience commands, so he will need some consistent training over the next few months. Samuel would like a loving family who will be patient with him as he decompresses and returns to his happy self. He gets along with other dogs and all kinds of people, including kids. We don;t recommend really young chldren, and we don't know about cats. Won't you be that amazing family who assists Samuel to return to a normal life in a "furever" home?
