Sammi *NEEDS FOSTER*'s story

　　Meet Sammi! Sammi came to us from a high-volume shelter in Philadelphia after being found as a stray. She recently had eye surgery and is still recovering. She was a total baby doll in a recent weekend foster home. Her foster mom said she loves sleeping in bed, does well in her crate, is great about waiting to go potty outside and loveslovesloves to play with any toy she can find! She will de-stuff stuffies after tossing them around a bit and is a master at any puzzle thrown her way. She knows sit and is super eager to learn more. When she gets excited, she will talk to you and may get mouthy, but stops when she's told to take it easy. She might be a pocket pitty, but don't let her size fool you - she's a little tank that will walk you all over the neighborhood if you let her. She is really just an awesome chick who would love a family that will take her all kinds of fun places, but also have some lazy days mixed in too. Sammi does well with other dogs that understand her play style, needs a home without cats and might do best with older kids due to her current mannerisms. We will update as we learn more, but in the meantime, ask to spend time with Sammi today!

　　Sammi is not yet available and is seeking a foster or foster, with the intention to adopt while she recovers from an eye surgery, but is. She is still able to have applications submitted once you've met. All animals from DHA are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption.
