Sam's story

　　------IMPAIRED VISION------

　　I don't have a history with dogs, but bring your dog down to meet with me to see how we get along.

　　I find cats a little TOO interesting, so best to keep them away.

　　Due to my size, age, personality, I'm a better fit for homes with adults.

　　Very friendly but a little shy at first (who wouldn't be if they can't see you very well), 89 pound Sam is an affectionate, gentle lady who hasn't had a lot of interaction with other dogs and people so far in her life. Despite that, she loves making friends and being close to people and can be vocal telling you she wants to be with you. Sam "walks well on leash but needs help navigating uneven ground or objects in front of her" and also needs help with steps. She loves soft, squeaky toys and would do well in a calm, Adult household with plenty of gentle reinforcement and guidance for her vision problems. [kc]
