My story
Well hello there! I'm Sam....now I know what you are thinking....I must be a boy since my name is Sam....but actually I am a pretty "girl shepherd mix that is about four years old. I was rescued by the kind deputies of Animal Control as I wandered in a neighborhood near the shelter. I guess I was making my way to the shelter! Anyway at the shelter I was given a big clean dog run, along with a big bowl of food, and a nice comfy bed! I must say I have enjoyed my time here, but I am ready to meet some new folks and hopefully find a great new home. I have all of my vaccinations, I have a microchip, and I have been spayed. One small problem did show up on my health check up. I am heartworm positive, but I am not worried. I know the shelter will stand with me all the way through treatment and then help me find my forever home! If you would like to donate to my treatment I know the shelter would love to have your donation!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sam, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
