　　The first thing you notice when you meet Sam (Sammy to his foster family) is his adorable crooked smile. It's perfect for him because this boy is ALWAYS happy!

　　The second thing you notice is that he's got a bald head and a few other scars. Sam came into the shelter in bad shape, and he has quite the story to tell... but Sam requests no pity, please! He's rocking an amazing comb over on his head, and his scars are only skin deep. The past is the past. Sam lives in the here and now, and he wants a new family who shares his joy for life.

　　Sam is in foster with a small, medium and large dog, and he loves playing with them all.

　　Don't let his age fool you! Sam is 9 going on 2. He is super playful and literally bounces on walks. He's a show off who likes to walk on his hind legs, too.

　　Sam loves fetch with the humans. Whether you have other dogs or not, Sam requests daily play sessions with his two legged friends.

　　Sam is a total love bug and a master cuddler. He loves to rest his head on his foster dad's chest and put his arm around him.

　　Sam sleeps in the big bed with his foster parents and the little dog. He only kinda hogs the pillows...
