Sam Husky's story

　　Sam, siberian husky, male, 56 lb, 4-5 yo, neutered, all shots

　　Sam has a beautiful wolfy apearance and a piercing stare of blue eyes that is sometimes hard to read. He is generally friendly, calm and dignified, but sometimes gets in a playful mood and joins the fun with any puppy that is willing to play. He is affectionate and devoted, but would not pester you for attention.

　　Sam needs the owner who is familiar with the breed and understands the husky's independent nature. He needs to be treated gently and firmly, with respect for his space and without extra emotions. He should not be let off the leash in the open area as huskies love to go and investigate on their own. He would be better in a home with the fenced yard. Not the right dog for a family with small kids.

　　Sam is good with most dogs, especially those that are calm, confident and without dominant traits.

　　He comes from TX flood area and has changed a few homes after the original owner lost his house and moved to another state. He was hw positive, but was successfully treated. Now he really needs a stable loving home.
