My story
09/09/21 Sam, previously known as Snoqulamie, was surrendered to the shelter because his previous owners felt they could not provide him proper care. Sam is quite the escape artist and has been known to jump over a 6ft tall fence and dig under a 10ft tall fence. Sam should be supervised when outdoors and properly restrained on a tie out or leash. With that being said Sam is said to be a very sweet and affectionate boy! He was said to do well with people of all ages! Sam was said to be very interested in cats and his new owners should be very cautious if choosing to introduce him as huskies tend to have a high prey drive. We do not know how Sam does with other dogs, pocket pets, or livestock. Sam is said to know a few basic commands such as sit, lay down, back up, and come. Sam is also said to be housebroken! Sam is a very active boy who needs a lot of exercise to live his best life and keep him out of trouble! Sam was said to have picked up a few naughty habits such as digging, chewing on things, getting into the trash, and jumping on people. He is a young boy eager to please and would love an owner to keep working on his training! If you are interested in meeting Sam please give the shelter a call!01/18/20 Snoqualmie was surrendered with his mother winter because his owner was unable to care for them any longer.
Sno is a sweet and active young boy who is getting used to the idea of growing up.
He would benefit from basic obedience classes and lots of positive socialization as he grows.
Sno is going to be a fairly large, high energy boy, so please make sure you are prepared for this commitment.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt SAM, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
