Sam 29486's story
Sam is an 8-month-old male Hound. He is brown with white markings and quite a good looking boy! Sam currently weighs 34 pounds so he is considered to be a medium sized adult dog. He came to the shelter as an owner turn in because he apparently really likes a chicken diet. His former owner suggests Sam not be with smaller farm animals or cats. Sam's family shared that he is almost house trained and with just a little patience from his new owner he should be completely house trained. He is smart and eager to please--he already knows the commands sit, shake, and speak. Sam is very friendly and affectionate. He is also quite active and playful. Sam is just a large puppy who is always ready for a game or a romp in the yard. He would be great in a home with children and other dogs. Please come meet this big baby who is ready to be a family dog.
