My story
Meet Salty!Fun Facts about Salty:He escaped from prison*His left ear likes to stick up Afraid of scary movies (Anabel scared him most)*Salty was a part of Marley’s Mutts Pawsitive Change program last year but escaping from prison seems like a better story.
No tats though, he’s a clean cut gentleman.Salty is an amazing dog.
You’ve heard of move-in ready homes?
Well, Salty is a somewhat move-in ready dog (since we’ve had an influx of medical or emotional needs dogs this was a huge change for us).
He is ready to give his devotion to his new family!
He knows basic commands but we will provide sessions with a trainer to reinstate his training, and strengthen the bond with his new family. His ideal family would be active or weekend warriors.
He’s an extremely large lap dog, super affectionate, playful, and energetic.
We wouldn’t recommend small or timid children because of his size he may knock them over.
He’d love another dog friend to play with but if he’s in an active home we think he’d be okay with that too.
He does leave the senior, tiny dogs alone.
Salty does not do well with cats or loud noises.
He has excellent hearing and will bark/howl when he hears a noise, so an excellent watchdog.
We question his guard dog potential because he just wants affection (we’re glad prison didn’t harden him).
