My story

　　Adopting a senior cat is like forwarding to the best part! I'm Salem, a classy older lady and I'm ready to spend my retirement with you! I came to High Country Humane because I was found wandering on my own, but I'm mostly focused on where I'll spend my golden years (and where I'll get my next snack + nap). I should tell you a bit about myself. I'm as easy to please as I am charming. And one of my favorite things to do is being a couch potato. Netflix anyone? As an older gal I'm not one for making new cat friends but I LOVE people! I love chatting and climbing up on your shoulders for attention.

　　If I sound like your next pal, then come meet me! I want to show you how laid-back, four-legged living is done. I have plenty of love left to give because love doesn't keep track of years!

Oh, and I'm told you may want to know these things: I'm fixed, microchipped, and up-to-date on my vaccines. I also need to go home in a carrier. If you have one of your own, please bring it with you just in case! If you don't bring one, you can easily pick up a cardboard carrier onsite for just $10!
