My story
05/03/22 Sadie was surrendered to the shelter because her previous owner was moving into housing that did not allow dogs. Sadie is kennel trained, she will bark by the door to get let out to go potty. She has basic obedience training like sit and lay down, She is gentle when playing, outgoing, friendly and also affectionate. She generally minds well, but does get into the garbage, jumps on people and is very vocal! Sadie is said to be friendly with babies, children and adults, but will bark at strangers. She is said to be `more or less` friendly with cats and dogs, but is not friendly with pocket pets. So we are requiring she go to a home without pocket pets. If you are interested in Sadie, then give us a call!04/06/21 Sadie was surrendered to the shelter because her previous owner became homeless and could no longer properly care for her. According to the previous owner, Sadie is kennel trained, housebroken (stands by door), knows basic commands (sit, lay down, stay) and is very outgoing and friendly. The previous owners also stated that Sadie has done well with children in the past and does well with dogs and cats. Sadie is a typical young dog, she may jump up on people, get into the trash and may also chew on things she shouldn't chew on. She would benefit from obedience classes to help curb those bad habits and help her bond with her new family. Sadie is a very sweet and affectionate girl who is very curious about what her people are doing and wants to be a part of everything her family is doing. Sadie is a mixture of two very intelligent and loyal breeds, she will need daily physical and mental stimulation in order to keep her happy, content and out of trouble. Please research Chow Chows and German Shepherds prior to considering this active girl. If Sadie sounds like the dog for you, please give the shelter a call to make an appointment to meet her!May 7, 2022, 10:55 pm
