Hi! My name is Ruth (at least its the one my foster mom gave me and I took to it immediately). Im a young adult, and Ive had a rough start in life. My original pack included a human and several other dogs, but unfortunately my human passed away and I was separated from everything I knew. I was very scared, but my foster mom saw past my fear and gave me a chance. I currently live with three other chihuahuas on a regular basis, but mom fosters and pet sits so Ive been exposed to other dogs coming in and out of the house and I havent had a single complaint! I couldnt tell you my opinion on big dogs or cats, but I hope to have one soon. I am a very timid girl, I adore my foster mom, and Ill let her do anything to me as long as she doesnt move too fast, otherwise I run away. I dont like being locked in rooms away from my pack, but Im happy in my crate in the living room where all my pack mates are, so Im not alone alone. I adore my foster mom! (Did I say that already?) however, Im still not so sure about other humans. If theyre in the house long enough, Im willing to come around them, but I wont let them touch me, unless mom holds me and makes me be social. Turns out, everyone just wants to love on me! Ive still working on coming out of my shell, but Ive come a long way already.
