Rusty's story
My name is Lil Rusty. Im a DSH, orange and white tabby, approximately one year old The vet estimates my birthday as February, 2018. I was found in a parking lot by a nice cat trapper. She didnt have to trap me as I jumped right into her lap. I was so skinny, dirty and very scared. I knew she was kind and would help me. Im glad she did, because a big rainstorm was coming and I didnt know what to do. I was not good at finding food or shelter from the coyotes in the area. She took me home, got me cleaned up, some medical care and then began to feed me so I could fill out. She tried very hard to find my owner but no one was looking for me. I like the covered soft bed my foster mom gave me to sleep in. I dont hide in it though, and also sleep on her bed. Shes teaching me all about toys and Im beginning to get the hang of playing with them. My foster mom says that I am easy going and happy go lucky. I am just happy to be safe, have regular food again, and a good brushing. I would love to find a forever home this time and not have to worry about being tossed out. I never want to go outdoors again but would love to sit in a tall cat tree in a sunny window and look outside. I have been neutered, vaccinated, and tested negative for FeLV/FIV.
