　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer and need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments. To adopt, we need to receive an application (link to the online version found below). She's a beautiful short-haired Russian Blue mix with golden eyes. She's just a kitten at approximately 1 year, 1 month old (as of Dec 29th). Aurora is a quiet, calm and gentle girl who enjoys to be held. She'd be an excellent companion pet! Since she does best in quiet environments, we wouldn't recommend her in a home with small children or dogs - she may not adjust. Please note that we may not be willing to try a trial adoption in an environment we know she won't do well in. Please stop in at our cat adoption center or contact us to meet Aurora! Negative for FIV/FeLK, current on vaccinations and spayed. Our flat adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read the descriptions thoroughly and note the specific personalities or special criteria we recommend (some are not good around kids, other cats, dogs, etc.).
