　　Throughout this summer 2012, the Humane Society of West Alabama wants to increase my chances at finding my forever home by reducing my adoption fee! Email my rescue group or stop in to meet me!

　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer and need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments.

　　This gorgeous girl is Ashes, a short-haired Russian Blue mix. She not only has the coloring, but she also has the blocky Russian Blue head shape and body type. She is a teenager right at or just under a year old, and may not get much bigger - she may be on the small/medium scale. Ashes is a laid-back lady, but she does have a nice energy level and likes to play. She's a pretty calm girl, but can be opinionated at times - she'll tell us if she doesn't want to be held or if she doesn't want another cat around her. As long as she gets to do whatever she wants on her own time, she's happy! The cat's life. She's been courteous and sociable with other cats at our cat adoption center. She may do well with a calm dog, but wouldn't do well with large dogs. You can meet this beautiful girl at our cat adoption center!

　　Negative for FIV and FeLK, current on vaccinations and has been spayed.

　　Our adoption fee is temporarily reduced to only $50, a fee to help offset a fraction of the vet costs. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read up on our adoption process .
