My story

　　This handsome little man is a very sweet and curious 1 year old lab mix. He is still young and has some puppy behavior, and will also need some house training. Rufus recently returned to First State after being in a home for 2 months. The owner said her Dad was against her getting a dog to begin with they just don't have time for him anymore. Rufus gets along well with dogs of all sizes and, in addition, he enjoys playing and snuggling with people of all ages. An all around winner! His gentle, kind nature made him a favorite with our middle school aged campers this summer. Look into that sweet face and you can tell he is just looking for someone to show him the love that he deserves. Could it be you?
